Pineapple Studios Open Day

EVENT: Pineapple Dance Studios Open Day

WHEN: Sunday 24th August 2014; 11am – 5pm

WHAT: The studio opens its doors for an entire day of free classes, plus lots of membership and merchandise offers. From Ballet to Zumba to Dancehall to Funk Fusion, you can try it all, safe in the knowledge that you’ve got nothing to lose… and perhaps a lot to gain.

SUMMARY: It’s no secret that I’m a bit in love with Pineapple… so I was ridiculously excited to be invited to their Open Day. The atmosphere was vibrant, the teachers were inspiring and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. I even tried a bit of Dancehall, not having a clue what it was beforehand! (If you’re wondering, it’s an energetic dance style from Jamaica.)

It was a marvellous day and really highlighted something I strongly believe in – that Pineapple (and dance) is accessible to EVERYONE – whether you’re a professional or have never worn a pair of tap shoes in your life.

If you missed the day, have a gander a few photos below (video to follow!). Huge thank you to all the staff and teachers who made the Open Day so enjoyable.
